Kidney angiomyolipoma abdominal MRI medical image datasets

Renal angiomyolipomas (AML) refer to neoplasm with perivascular epithelioid differentiation. Renal AMLs often occur in association with tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) or pulmonary lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM) or occur as a sporadic finding among patients who have neither TSC nor pulmonary LAM. These tumors arise by clonal proliferation on epithelioid cells distributed around blood vessels. MRI is excellent at evaluating fat-containing lesions such as AMLs. Our database consists of MRI abdominal medical images with varying levels of pathology. The images are accompanied by a radiology report with detailed description. Our kidney image dataset is constantly enriched by new quality imagery data. Using the latest kidney image datasets from Medical Data Cloud will expedite the training of ML/AI algorithms for better models’ learning and diagnosis.
