Cross renal ectopia retroperitoneal and abdominal image datasets

Crossed renal ectopia (CRE) is a rare congenital anomaly in which both kidneys reside on one side. More than 85% of these get fused resulting in crossed fused renal ectopia. CRE is usually asymptomatic and incidentally found on imaging workup. It is usually seen fixed to iliac crest, but below the level of L2. Diagnosis can be made with abdominal ultrasound and abdominopelvic CT-Scan. Our database consists of abdominal ultrasound and CT scan medical images with varying levels of pathology. The images are accompanied by a radiology report with detailed description. Our kidney image dataset is constantly enriched by new quality imagery data.
