Horseshoe kidney retroperitoneal and abdominal image datasets

Horseshoe kidney is a congenital condition in which kidneys fuse together at the bottom, forming a ‘’U’’ shape or horseshoe shape. It will be often found on prenatal ultrasounds. In children without symptoms, treatment may not be necessary, if the child is having other complications such as belly pain, nauseas, urinary tract infections or kidney stones, the specialist may order renal ultrasound. Our database consists of renal ultrasound scan images accompanied by a radiology report with detailed description on variant pathologies. Using the latest kidney ultrasound image datasets from Medical Data Cloud, will hasten the training of ML/AI algorithms for better models’ learning and diagnosis.
