Mucinous cystic tumor abdominal image datasets

Mucinous cystic neoplasm (MCN) is an uncommon cystic tumor of the pancreas, accounting for about 10% of pancreatic cystic lesions. It occurs almost exclusively in women (male-to-female ratio, 1:9–20), with age at diagnosis being 40 and 60 years. Most such tumors are located in the pancreatic body and tail (93%–95%). It is recommended to follow-up rather than resecting MCN with a size of less than 4 cm examined by MRI. Our database consists of abdominal MRI images showing the interrelations between the different organs and glands. The MRI images are accompanied by a radiology report with detailed description on variant pathologies. Using the latest pancreas image datasets from Medical Data Cloud, will hasten the training of ML/AI algorithms for better models’ learning and diagnosis.
