Appendix CT imaging dataset
The appendix is a finger-shaped hollow tube located at the lower right abdomen, where the small and large intestines join. Its function is unknown and, at most, speculative. Our database consists of human appendix medical images showing a normal and inflamed one, a condition known as appendicitis. The images are accompanied by a radiology report with detailed description. Our appendix image dataset is constantly enriched by new quality imagery data. Using the latest appendix image datasets from Medical Data Cloud will expedite the training of ML/AI algorithms for better models’ learning and diagnosis.
