Kidney oncocytoma abdominal MRI medical image datasets

Kidney oncocytomas are common benign neoplasms. They usually occur in the seventh decade of life and are responsible for 3 to 7 percent of all renal neoplasm. Kidney oncocytomas are usually discovered incidentally while performing imaging tests for another pathology. They usually have an excellent prognosis and are not associated with an aggressive clinical course, although there can occasionally be metastasis to liver and bones. On MRI, the high cellular component demonstrates moderate signal on T2-weighted images and relatively high signal on diffusion-weighted imaging. The database consists of clear and comprehensible images reflecting organ pictures and the interrelations between the different organs and glands.
