Pancreatic cancer abdominal MRI medical image datasets

Worldwide, pancreatic cancer is the seventh leading cause of cancer deaths according to the World Health Organization. Most pancreatic cancers are exocrine cancers. Pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors or islet cell tumors, are less common but tend to have a better prognosis. MRI has been increasingly used in the evaluation of pancreatic neoplasms. The typical appearance of pancreatic carcinoma is hypointense on T1-weighted images and hyperintense on T2-weighted images. Our database consists of abdominal MRI images showing the interrelations between the different organs and glands. The MRI images are accompanied by a radiology report with detailed description on variant pathologies. Using the latest abdominal image datasets from Medical Data Cloud, will hasten the training of ML/AI algorithms for better models’ learning and diagnosis.
