Pancreatic necrosis abdominal MRI medical image datasets

Necrotizing pancreatitis (NP) happens when pancreas gets inflamed or injured and the pancreatic enzymes leak, it may start after an episode of acute pancreatitis but people with chronic pancreatitis can also get NP but is not as common. Necrotizing pancreatitis most commonly manifests as necrosis involving both pancreas and peripancreatic tissues. MRI can be used to help evaluate the presence and degree of pancreatic necrosis, and is crucial for identifying complications of acute pancreatitis and predicting prognosis. Medical Data Cloud provides access to a large dataset of abdominal MRI images with and without contrast and pathology accompanied by a radiology report with detailed description. We carefully select the abdominal MRI images with varying levels of organ damage severity.
